Design for an Entrance to the Internet (Research). / Speculative entrances to the internet visualising the complexity in the process of a queries transformation into results. Each design propositions is based upon ancient alchemic philosophy and alchemist diagrams mapping the interdependencies of elements and interrelated worlds. Designs are rendered upon volcanic obsidian glass scrying mirrors formed from rapidly cooled molten lava and once used by alchemists to communicate with other worlds. Obsidian glass mirrors are also known as black mirrors and closely resemble the modern black mirror screens of our smartphones we use to reduce the membrane between worlds.
